Title:"Religion and Consciousness"
Place: Artillerivej 86, lecture room 0.26 (ground floor), 2300 Copenhagen S.
Organizers: the research education programme Religion & Society, University of Copenhagen and CFS.

The idea of the conference is to bring together and discuss various approaches to the study of religion, first and foremost within cognitive science and philosophy (phenomenology, hermeneutics, philosophy of mind), and to do so in focusing on issues such as: counterintuition, commitment, cognition and emotion, agency, understanding, self-awareness, intersubjectivity, and intentionality.

PhD-students are invited to present papers. All participating in the course are required to read materials which will be provided beforehand by the organizers. ECTS to be announced at a later date.
