CFS Newsletter No. 6 - 2013

The Center for Subjectivity Research was established in 2002 as an interdisciplinary "Center of Excellence." In the period 2002-2012 it was funded by the Danish National Research Foundation, with supplementary funding from the University of Copenhagen. Currently it is host to a number of externally funded research projects. It is located at the Faculty of Humanities, and its current staff is affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Theology, and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

NEWS

DM Researcher Prize to Dan Zahavi

Dan Zahavi has just received the Dansk Magisterforening’s humanities researcher prize of kr. 50,000. The prize is awarded once a year to both a natural science and a humanities researcher. The election committee about Dan Zahavi; "[he has] made a creative and dynamic, transdisciplinary research milieu. Zahavi's research has made Copenhagen a centre for phenomenological philosophy that attracts young researchers from across the globe."

NEWLY EMPLOYED STAFF 

Lars Siersbæk Nilsson is employed as a PhD Fellow at Department of Clinical Medicine. The position he holds will last for 3 years and is part of the research project “The disrupted ‘we’: Shared intentionality and its psychopathological distortions”.
