CFS Newsletter No. 9 - 2014

The Center for Subjectivity Research was established in 2002 as an interdisciplinary "Center of Excellence." In the period 2002-2012 it was funded by the Danish National Research Foundation, with supplementary funding from the University of Copenhagen. Currently, it is host to a number of externally funded research projects. It is located at the Faculty of Humanities, and its current staff is affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Theology, and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

Alba Montes Sánchez is employed as a Postdoc at CFS, starting January 1st 2015. The position she holds will last for one year and is part of the research projekt "Genomic History of Denmark" funded by University of Copenhagen. Read more

Olle Blomberg recieved a DFF-MOBILEX Mobility Grant and is employed as a Postdoc at CFS, starting January 1st 2015 under the project Intentional Joint Action: Coordination, Responsibility and Participant's Knowledge. Read more

Copenhagen Summer School in Phenomenology and Philosophy of Mind 2015 will take place 10-14 August, 2015.

Consciousness, Knowledge, Intentionality, Phenomenology and Analytic Philosophy

The summer school will provide essential insights into central themes within the philosophy of mind, viewed from a phenomenological perspective. The course will consist of a mixture of key note lectures, PhD presentations and seminars (32 hours total), aimed at advanced MA students and PhD students. Postdocs are also welcome.
