Experiencing Value – perspectives from moral psychology and phenomenology

Workshop

By bringing perspectives from moral psychology and phenomenology into dialogue, the workshop focuses on the social dynamics of identity and on practical reasoning and freedom.

Invited Speakers

  • Salla Aldrin Salskov (Åbo Academy)
  • Thomas Brudholm (University of Copenhagen)
  • Sanna Tirkkonen (University of Helsinki)
  • Niklas Toivakainen (University of Helsinki)
  • Minna-Kerttu Kekki (University of Helsinki)
  • Fredrik Westerlund (University of Helsinki)
  • Joel Backström (University of Helsinki)

The workshop takes its outset in research papers by the invited speakers. Each session will open with a comment provided by an invited commentator, followed by the author’s reply and an in-depth discussion of the research paper.

Anyone interested in participating in the workshop should be willing to read the research papers in advance, which will enable fruitful participation in group discussions. We encourage anyone interested in philosophical discussions of moral psychology to reach out to us. If you are interested in participating, please get in touch with Line Ryberg Ingerslev.

The programme will be uploaded soon.
