In memoriam: Professor dr.theol. Arne Grøn (1952-2025)

Arne Grøn was one of the three founders of the Center for Subjectivity Research. He was professor of Ethics and Philosophy of Religion and internationally highly recognised for his contribution to Kierkegaard scholarship. In his systematic work, Grøn explored the nature of subjectivity with a particular focus on normative and affective themes such as trust, anxiety, hope, love and despair. The Center for Subjectivity Research owes a substantial debt to his engagement and support over the years. Arne Grøn passed away in early August after having been seriously ill for several years.
