Recent appointments
Iben Damgaard, PhD student at the Center from 2002-2005, has obtained a position as professor with special responsibilities at the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Theology. Damgaard wrote her dissertation on Kierkegaard and Ricoeur, and her primary research since has included work on Nietzsche, human nature, hermeneutics, philosophy of religion, and narrative approaches to identity, ethics, and theology.
Cornelia Richter, Postdoc at the Center from 2003-2005, has obtained a position as professor of systematic theology at the University of Bonn. Richter’s research ranges widely in systematic theology, hermeneutics, and cultural studies, with particular interest in Schleiermacher and Cassirer, as well as intersections with scientific studies of culture, mind, and embodiment.
