Two Radio Features with Thomas Szanto on Empathy and on Emotions and Politics

Thomas Szanto has given interviews and contributed to two radio features for the German National Broadcast Deutschlandfunk. 

The first feature is on the occasion of Stein’s 80th Death Anniversary. In the feature, Thomas Szanto talks about the phenomenology of empathy and Stein’s relevance today. Listen to the feature here.

The other feature discusses the risks and prospects of emotions for politics, critically reflects on some widespread views on the alleged irrationality of emotions and populism, and presents the ongoing CFS-research project Antagonistic Political Emotions.  Listen to the feature here.
