George Pattison: "Freedom, Being, and Love: Nothingness in Sartre, Heidegger, and Kierkegaard"

George Pattison is Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity at the University of Oxford. Among his numerous publications are Art, Modernity and Faith (1991), Kierkegaard: the Aesthetic and the Religious (1992), Agnosis: Theology in the Void (1996), The Later Heidegger (2000), Kierkegaard’s Upbuilding Discourses: Philosophy, Literature and Theology (2002), Thinking about God in an Age of Technology (2005), The Philosophy of Kierkegaard (2005). He is currently working on a book on God and ontology
